Banff Tunnel Mountain Wedding

On the 31st of August I had the opportunity to photograph Lily and Joel’s wedding in Beautiful Banff. If you asked any bride about the weather they hope for, our forecast was last on the list. It poured rain most of the day and with the high winds it made for a cool afternoon. It was actually raining so hard we had to move the ceremony inside. Moody weather is my favourite to photograph in and i was absolutely pumped when they said they had no issues at all going back up to Tunnel mountain to do the portraits. They embraced the pouring rain and chilly temps without a single complaint - actually most of the time we were laughing at how hard it was coming down. You can never choose the weather on your wedding day so embracing whatever you get is the way to go. These are some of my favourite portraits of the year, a truly awesome wedding day.
