Peyto Lake Elopement

This was my wedding of the year, and that is a big statement after how many awesome weddings i was a part of. When i first spoke to Melissa and we discussed a cabin in the woods in Golden, British Columbia- followed by an adventure session in Peyto Lake, I was beyond pumped. I had huge expectations on myself and for this whole day since our first emails. This elopement was one i had been waiting for and thankfully it couldn’t of gone any better. Elopements are a totally different feel than a traditional wedding and are truly my favourite. The intimacy, emotion and connection of the couple is amazing. I find on so many wedding days that you are quite rushed, and it’s usually the couple who isn’t left with much time together. Elopements are the exact opposite, and a first look deep in the woods in Golden with a private cabin made it that much more exceptional. For anyone reading this who is considering a similar idea let me know, I’d love to be a part of it.
